Patients requiring hospital treatment are ground transported to one of the following medical centers:

St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Summit County
(Level III Trauma Center, 30 miles from Fairplay)

Pikes Peak Regional Hospital in Woodland Park
(Level IV, 64 miles)

Heart of the Rockies Regional Hospital in Salida
(Level IV, 57 miles)

Various Denver hospitals (Level I-II-III, 85 miles) and various Colorado Springs hospitals (Level I-II, 85 miles).

Helicopter transport is used for critical patients and is weather permitting.
